This is an antique men's black wool Knights Templar coat with red velvet crosses and bullion embroidery in silver and bronze metallic thread on the sleeves. This Knights Templar Coat includes the matching pants. This Masonic jacket was made around 1920s, marked on the inside pocket with a name and date. The pants are made in John David NY. This knights Templar coat has back kick pleats, a stiff high collar which closes with a large hook and eyes. The shoulders are padded and are where you find some small holes. There is also a button hole that is broke. Coat is in good condition with a few hole and repairs. All buttons on this coat are covered with with satin and showing some wear. Coat lining is all black with linen lined sleeves. It measures 47 cm across the shoulders, 56 cm across the armpits. The pants button up the front and have a buckle in the back to tighten as well as buttons on the inside and out for your suspenders. The pants seem newer than the coat and have a ribbon down both sides. They measure 43 cm across the waist, 32 cm to the crotch and 72 cm inseam.
