Very nice set of 4 Hunting Scene Tea Cups w Saucers by Crown Staffordshire made in England. A wonderful Fox Hunting scene complete with fox, dogs, hunters on horseback and a little house are hand painted on both cup and saucer. The mark was introduced in 1930 and changed adding "Queensberry" to the company name in 1950s. That dates these to the 30s or 40s. Each is also numbered by hand I assume by the artist. Really a charming little set with wonderful details, down to the handles.
In overall good vintage condition, 2 of the cups have faint hairline cracks, one of these can be seen on the front as well (see photos). The other two and all the saucers are in great shape with light signs of wear and age. Because they are hand painted there are little imperfections as pointed out in the close up of one of the saucers.
