Vintage 30s Red Gingham Dress with Dark Blue - Sold AS IS - Flaws
Blue tie at the neckline and tie at short poof sleeves - this can be tightened. Side buttons at waist. Material on top feels like acetate (thin, not stretchy) and bottom feels like rayon (a bit thicker and not stretchy) I have hand washed the gingham part and successfully removed underarm yellowing! However the blue ties' dye ran onto the gingham of the sleeve and shoulder. In addition there are a couple faint brown areas on the gingham of the bodice.
Also the sleeve seams are not perfect, I hand stitched open parts back together, some areas I had to take a bit of extra material due to tearing. The dark blue skirt part has a small hole along the side hip and more obvious damage along the hem - please see closeups of these flaws.
Model is 5'3" XS Dress measurements: Bust- 32", Waist- 26", Hips 38", Total length- 36", Bodice 15", Shoulders 13".
