Vintage dresses like this one are so rare to come by, and this one is truly so one-of-a-kind. Made in France in the late 1930s/early 1940s, it features a gorgeous silk fabric printed with illustrations of animals, and their names in French— so whimsical! It features a fitted bodice with a drop waist, and a little gathered fabric flower at the waistband. Note the high band collar. I can't begin to emphasize how well made and well cut this dress is— you'll never find a modern dress of this quality.

Great vintage condition overall; the fabric has been patched in one place at the shoulder, but it's so well done that it blends right in with the print. It's so difficult to find dresses from this era in wearable condition at all, and this one is just beautifully preserved.
