Keep it chic, in this 1930's velvet jacket that would've been good enough for Coco...

This lovely, delicate black velvet jacket is a lightweight to medium weight outerwear option. The velvet is made from pure silk (not silk blend) and even has a pure silk lining. The collar is shawl-style, with the lapels forming all the way down to the waist line. Here, a double set of snaps acts as the closure (pleas note: in the photographs the second closure is a black metal hook & eye, but I have switched this to a hidden snap closure). The sleeves are fairly narrow (*check cuff measurements!) and the shoulders feature light structuring, for shape. The back side of the jacket also features a delicate smocking at the shoulders and a long peplum, for some added volume. No labels or maker's marks present. This jacket is in extremely excellent, and wearable condition, with no noticeable flaws or signs of wear! Has been professionally washed and pressed, is now butter-soft.
