A fabulous 1930s true vintage dark navy blue light weight wool redingote coat with one button and darting details. A size Sm.
A high quality Thirties coat.

A fitted coat with a deep V and one large button closure. The coat is without lapels along the collar, but straight lapels start under a seaming.
The front has vertical pleats that fall softly into the waist. A curved seam starts at the top seam and goes to the side at the waist.

Under this are two curved seams that go to the hem giving it its fit.
The back has 7 long darts to the hem for fit.
It is lined in navy rayon satin fabric.
The coat is such a dark navy that it looks almost black

In very good structural condition with one very tiny pin point hole on the right shoulder.
There are three small holes on the bottom of the right sleeve.
