This is just a fantastic 30s lingerie trousseau set. The set consists of a nightgown, slip, brassiere, and tap paints all in matching pink jacquard silk with gorgeous cream lace. The set is also entirely hand-sewn with most seams being french seams. This set is so beautiful and has exquisite workmanship.

The bra is my favorite piece and is just so fun and clever. The bra is made of two silk triangles with lace at the points and along the sides. The triangles overlap at the center of the chest and at the underbust on each side there is a little button and some pin tucking for shaping. The button attaches to the straps that wrap around the back and fasten back in the front. The last about 3” of the straps are elasticated so that it can fit securely. The brassiere is for the most part backless and I just think it is such a great design.

Condition:
The set is in near mint condition with no flaws. I did have to replace the elastic on the bra as when I went to photograph it, it just gave out. That's why it's not gathered in the photos. The set seems like it has never been worn. It was stored in an old photo paper box so it has been professionally hand laundered and has no storage smell. Each piece is so fun and is great for mixing and matching within your own wardrobe. The set is ready to wear.
