30s Crepe Backed Satin Cream Wedding Gown With Train$575.00
This is a stunning and fun 30s liquid satin wedding gown. The wedding gown is such a lovely simple sheath dress style and is bias cut. The gown has an elegant square neckline that is trimmed in a wonderful Box pleat trim. The gown has an empire waist and the skirt of the gown gracefully hangs down to the floor gently hugging the figure. The gown has a beautiful circular train that is also trimmed in the pleated trim and goes up a bit of the back of the skirt. The gown has long sleeves that fasten with matching fabric-covered buttons on the forearm and the cuff is left a little open and flats out around the wrist in such a fun little added detail. The gown fastens on the left side.
Condition:
The gown is in wonderful condition with only a few small flaws. Unfortunately, one of the satin-covered buttons has been lost to time. It is at the top and could be hidden and does not affect the fasting of the sleeves. There was also a belt to the gown and still has the thread loops for where it would have been. The gown has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.
