What an incredible gown! Professional construction with no design label present. The dress itself is fashioned from a bold black silk chiffon and features a stunning dark floral print on silk crepe. This print is brooding, mischievous, and ticks all of the boxes for me - absolutely stunning in person.
The foundation shown here is a black acetate slip, not original to the dress but included at no extra cost, and serves as a perfect substitute until you can find a foundation of your choosing. The slip has adjustable shoulder straps, scalloped bustline details, and a calf length. Condition for the slip is noted as excellent. A real bonus as it can be utilized with the rest of your wardrobe and makes for a fantastic true foundational staple.
The dress design features a sleeveless bodice with flawless shirring at the shoulders, a bias cut with plunging v-neckline, and gorgeous drapery throughout the sleek, ethereal skirt. The gown itself is breathtaking with the inky black chiffon set against the bold black foundation but the printed silk detail is just incredible. A dark and brooding gray/silver/ivory floral print on silk crepe with hints of reflection and the slightly added weight kicks the drama in movement up to top gear! This gown is pure sultry seduction, no wallflowers here. The dress fastens at the side waist with all original snaps intact.
Condition is listed as excellent - shockingly impressive and near pristine! 100%, 100% wearable - zero damage - zero discoloration. I count a total of 4 innocuous pin holes throughout the entire piece and no other issues to note! Absolutely gorgeous presentation. This is the only black evening gown you will ever need, with so much versatile styling potential.
