Professional construction with no design or manufacture label present. The trousers are done in an ultra soft, fine wool with a gorgeous true aubergine color. The trousers fasten at each hip with all original buttons intact. Buttons could easily be moved to take the waist measurement in. There is an adjustable metal slide buckle at each calf, flap pockets at each hip and a single rear pocket.

Condition is listed as very good. I note one very well executed repair to the right knee. The repair is an original period repair and only visible with close inspection. I find no other issues to note, the fabric is clean, bold, and supple. No moth damage, no discoloration. The trousers have been freshly dry cleaned and are ready to wear.

Please note that the true color is a true aubergine purple with only the slightest red undertone.
