This is a lovely 30s/40s sheer black rayon chiffon bias-cut nightgown. The nightgown has a sweetheart neckline and is trimmed in floral lace. The waistline in the front is also made of lace and is unlined. The skirt is simple and skims the figure falling to the ankles, thanks to the bias cut. The nightgown does have a tag: Shirley Ray.
Condition:
The nightgown is in great condition with the only flaw to note is some slight fading of the black to burgundy in the left hem edge of the skirt. It has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.
