This dress is a mystery to me. It's not homemade because there is a faded label inside. It's not a current dress because of the unrefined inner stitching. It looks 30s/40s-ish but the construction clues seem a little newer than that. There's a metal zipper up the back which is usually 50s but the design doesn't match that era! I'm so confused.

Here's what I can confirm. This dress is stunning. It's feminine, is flattering, and is perfect for that second date he asked you on.

She's had some minor mending work done in the armpit area and the seam on one side of the bust is a little loose. Still very wearable and still stunning!
