This is just such a fun and ethereal 30s medieval fairy princess-style costume. The costume is made of pastel blue rayon satin. It has a ruched bust that is covered in clear beads. The sleeves are just on the shoulders and are short sleeves covered in more beads. At the cuff, the sleeves have lovely flouffy greenish chiffon attached bell sleeves that have a slit at ¾ length to give the sleeves even more movement. The dress is empire waisted, with a bias-cut center seam. It has a slight point at the center of the hem adding a nice medieval flair. Condition:
The costume overall is in good condition with the most noticeable flaw being some holes in the chiffon, mostly before the slit. The only other thing is that the rayon satin that was used has a larger weave and is prone to pulling at the seams and there is a little bit of pull at a few of the seams. The most noticeable is at the waist and is mostly like because it is such a small opening to get the dress on. The dress is still wearable and so wonderful. It has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.
