This is just the most darling late, 30s early 40s cotton summer dress. The dress is made of light almost lawn cotton printed with beautiful blue and yellow roses with stems. The gown is sleeveless with thinner straps that have royal blue grosgrain ribbon running through them. The bust is a pointed sweetheart style and is gathered at the center. It is fitted throughout the bodice with a side metal zipper to help get the dress over the head. The skirt is very full and is gathered at the waistline and falls to the floor. There is also a small puff bustle in the back that is attached to the waistline by a panel under the skirt. The dress is homemade but is made well and is just so stunning.
