This is a stunning 30s/40s pure silk nightgown in a soft cream brocade flowers The nightgown has a v-ed neckline and is covered in stunning hand-done embroidery. The nightgown is bias cut and drapes beautifully over the body. The nightgown has ties at the waist to cinch it in. The nightgown falls to the ankles and has a wonderful scalloped edge. The nightgown does have tags; Pure Silk, Made in China. The nightgown is also all hand sewn and is just stunning. There are also characters on the inside of the silk at the bust seam. I am not sure what they are but they do remind me of fabric characters that I have seen on bolts of vintage silk I have from Japan.

The nightgown is in near mint condition with no flaws to note. It has been hand laundered and is ready to wear.
