This magical long nightgown or slip is a magical shade of shimmering gray-blue (hard to photograph; in some lights it's more gray than blue) with a lot of lace detail on the bodice and a lot of slipperiness to the satin (just the way we like it). It has all the flattering style of the 1930s but may have been made slightly later than that. It is by Charmode, which is a Sears brand, so you know why it's held up all these years.

It's marked a size 34, but a 36 can wear it comfortably. It might even go to accommodate a 38, if your waist is proportionally smallish. The bias cut can be forgiving in some ways.

Condition is very good to excellent. I'm not sure it was ever worn, but there are a couple of pinholes and a snag, which I've photographed. Please study the photographs to be sure this is the right piece for you.
