Lovely dark blue 1930s silk dress. Just as wearable today as it was in the 30s.

Sheer silk dress has gathered bust with attached cummerbund that snaps in back, v-neck with peach colored revers collar overlaid with ivory Brussels style lace and peach ruffle trim, same details that are on the collar are on the cuffs that turn back and snap and have a hook, Shoulder have rows of stitching, long sleeves with pleated caps, gathers at elbow, back bodice has keyhole neck with one fabric covered button and tiny darts at neckline, six-gored skirt, side metal zipper. 2"hem.

Size - would fit a medium to large, I wear from a size 10-12 in dresses and large in in everything else, the dress fits me beautifully, although the wrist are a tiny bit snug, snaps can be moved slightly.

Measurement taken across front while flat then doubled, please allow for fit and ease.

Very good condition to excellent, looks like small hole on back shoulder has been patched (see photo), some re-stitching at edge of lace collar on neck and cuff where the lace folds, and original maker of this dress did her best at sewing that cummerbund on straight, but to my eye it is just a tad uneven (see photos) or I am just a perfectionist. This dress is very wearable and any minor flaws mentioned do not take away from the integrity of the dress.
