Brothers Harry & Joseph started Plotkin Bros in Boston in 1909 opening a tailoring shop on Tremont St. After only a couple of years, the business had grown so much they had to expand and then move a handful of times in the subsequent years until in 1926, they opened a stylish store in the newly constructed four-story white limestone and copper building on Boylston. As one ad stated “the wealth of inspiration, effort, quality and design that went into each coat makes this a history-making collection”
Excellent vintage condition. A bit of wear to fur collar near neck and some fraying to the ties inside which are not visible when worn.
