Gorgeous 1930s Dress With a Matching Bolero Jacket

This is one of the nicest art deco dresses I have every owned

May an early 1940s Evening Gown Dress as it does have a side metal closure but it is a 1930s

This is old Hollywood Glamour

Dress is sleeveless with sequins on the straps and across the front

Bias Cut Side Metal Closure

Skirt has 3 layers - Black taffeta underskirt - a plain black tulle then finished with a black tulle netting

The bottom netting is trimmed in 2 rows and each row is made up of 5 rows on tiny net ruffles

It is Bias Cut

Jacket is a open front has short sleeves gathered at the shoulders to give fullness

It is short and slightly fitted 5 rows of the same ruffles as the dress make up the body of the jacket

Glamour in the 1930s and 1940s was so glamorous, sexy and just plain Stunning

It is a rare piece to be found and it is in excellent vintage condition.
