Gorgeous medium weight black silk satin charmeuse (crepe backed silk satin) blouse from the 1930s.

The bodice features a vee neckline with a front and back yoke of ecru scalloped floral Chantilly lace accented with hand sewn seed pearls as pictured.

The wrist length sleeves feature coordinating ecru scalloped Chantilly lace as pictured.

The center front is curved up in a vee shape leaving an opening showing a small section of the abdomen as pictured. This curved area and the blouse bottom are accented with self-fabric silk flat piping as pictured.

Unlined.

Pulls on over the head with no zippers or buttons. The sleeves fasten with metal snaps at the sleeve ends.

No labels of any kind, although this appears to be professionally made.

The last two pictures showing closeups of the back yoke and sleeve ends have been lightened to show detail. The color is a rich ecru as shown in the other photos.

CONDITION: Excellent - The fabric is crisp and there is no discoloration, fading, snags, picks, holes, stains, rips, or other issues. The only thing is some slight storage odor which should come out with attention by a professional dry cleaner.

SIZING: No size tags. Based on the measurements below, I'd say this would best fit a modern size Small.
