3 Vintage Hazel Atlas Glass Dishes Candy Nut Appetizer Dishes Triangle Square Midcentury

The set consists of two triangular shaped pieces with handles and a square piece.

The triangle pieces are pattern #577, the 6" Handled Bon Bon Dish, by Hazel Atlas. They would have been used originally for nuts, candy, or preserves—they’d be great for appetizers too. They were made in the 1940s to 1960s period. They measure 6 ¼” from handle to edge, 5 ¼” across the other way, and 1 ½” deep. One of them has a miniscule chip on the handle that you can’t see, only feel. Otherwise, they are both in excellent condition.

The square dish is 6” by 6”. It has a very shallow chip on one top edge and another one just under the top. It also has what may be either be a hairline crack on one edge or a flaw from the manufacturing process—either way, you can’t feel it, only see it.
