This is a set of 24 (+ an extra ball for a total of 25!) vintage glass ball ornaments that have developed the most wonderful muted colors after fading from their original much brighter hues. I was wondering what to do with them and put them all in a bowl to figure out later—and fell in love with the effect! They were originally Christmas ball ornaments but can be used anytime of the year for any purpose. They’re perfect for farmhouse or cottage decors, or really any décor for that matter!

The other unusual thing about this listing is the size of some of the balls. The jumbo ones are getting really hard to find. Even despite the loss of their original color, their size alone makes them more valuable.

The set includes:

7 jumbo balls that are 3 ½” including the necks, in blue (1), lavender (2), gold (3), and silver (1).

7 large balls that are about 3” including the necks, in pink (2), gold (2), bronze (1) and blue (1). I’m including an extra 3” Shiny Brite ball (including the neck) that I found after I took the pictures, so the pictures only show 6. Thus, the total number of balls overall is 25.

11 mid-size and smaller balls that are 2” to 2 ½” including the necks, in pink (3), blue (4) and gold (4).

As noted above, as a bonus, I’m including an extra 3” Shiny Brite ball (including the neck) that I found after I took the pictures, so the total number of that size is 7—and the total number of balls overall is 25.

Don't expect perfection! Along with their vintage patina comes age marks—some scratches, crazing, fading, spots, discoloring, paint loss, rust or tarnish on the caps, or other imperfections. See pics.

The bowl in the pictures is not part of the listing—it's just to show some of the many ways these balls can be used beyond the Christmas tree.
