The classic by Harriet Beecher Stowe, "Uncle Tom's Cabin", this edition published circa the 1920s by J. H. Sears & Company ( there is no date but research and illustrations indicate the 1920s). There are charming illustrations but it does not list the artist. Yellow hardbound with red and navy blue.

It is in good shape overall. Some marks to the cover and yellowing of some pages, especially the edges and the inside cover bears the name of a previous owner. There is a chunk that looks vaguely chewed on the front cover, a pup perhaps? Does not interfere with any written text. There are darker splatters on the edges when you look at it closed.
