Historical Political Fashion from the 1920's Women's Suffrage Movement. A stunning glass beaded handbag in Suffragette colors, measuring 11" long, 8" wide and with a 19" long chain which signifies the 19th Ammendment. Beautiful Victorian Floral Filigree adorns the metal latch with a fully intact grey silk liner with turquoise stitching, with a compartment pocket. In this pocket there was a small metal empty compact, which I believe is aluminum, and is included.

The chain is not fully stretched out to 19" in the cover photo with the tape.

Please note that the bottom fringe has been torn on one end which resulted in some missing beads on the bottom fringe. There also are a few missing random beads in the body of the purse, however no there are no runs.
