This 1920s dress is truly spectacular! It’s made of purple silk with black silk chiffon and is hand embellished with gold bullion embroidery and gold beading. There are 11 gores in the handkerchief skirt. The sleeves are open about half way down the forearm. The square neckline is very flattering. It slips over the head and is very easy to wear. It’s a generous size too!

In great condition considering the age and weight. There are a few small holes in the chiffon of the skirt but they are disguised by the volume. There are two slits in the purple silk on the front but not easy to detect. A few missing beads. Definitely wearable.
