Absolutely gorgeous, a vision from another time! Professional construction from a lightweight navy blue, soft wool fabric featuring a matching navy blue silk soutache trim down the front and at the cuffs. The dress is styled as a middy dress with a feather light ivory tissue silk modesty panel at the neckline. The dress fastens with small black plastic buttons and has an attached rear self tie belt. The dress is unlined and must be dressed overhead with snap closures at each cuff.

Condition is listed as very good plus to near excellent. Structurally sound and 100% wearable. I note only one small period darn repair, approximately the size of a nickel at the rear lower part of the skirt. A few pin holes can be noted in the skirt, only when held up to the light, entirely unseen when the dress is worn and noted only for full disclosure. The tissue silk has a split across the top edge, this is also entirely unseen and does not deter from proper presentation. The top button is missing the original loop fastener and a few of the buttons are period replacements, very similar but not exact. I find no other issues to note, overall presentation is exceptional. Due to the delicate nature of the silk panel, I have not had this garment dry cleaned, however it is 100% free from soiling and any noxious odors.
