This 1920’s Hungarian Peasant dress is an ethereal dream. Made from a semi sheer cotton voile fabric in a gorgeous minty green. Covered in the most beautiful embroidery work of olive and celery shades. Perfect open work smocking at the waist and gathered shoulders. I love the detail work around the scoop neckline, and arm holes. This dress slips over the head and has snap closures at the side. In wonderful condition with some minor things to mention. I found a few tiny pin holes.. one tiny spot, and what could be a little yellowing at the armpit. None of these take away from this amazing dress. It’s structurally sound, the smocking is perfect and it just presents beautifully.
