Maker: unknown. This was a museum deaccession and still, has the label tacked at the neck.

Condition: Good. There are 7 patched repairs and a few tiny pinholes. There is a somewhat subtle (due to the dark color) stain at the center front below the neck and at the wearer’s right armhole. The white stitching from the label shows in the back. See photos. Feels sturdy enough for a few gentle wears. Freshly hand-soaked line-dried, clean, and ready to wear.
