This is an absolutely stunning enamel locket. There are several things that make this piece so special. The most important being the beautiful enameling on the front with a flower superimposed over it. The white iridescent enamel almost looks like it has a texture or is in motion. This locket also has the original fabric that it came with so it has never been used. It was most likely intended to be a mourning locket with hair on one side and picture on another. This piece is in antique condition. There is a tiny bit of enamel loss on the back near the bale. I have paired it with a 1970s vintage Italian sterling chain.
