This is just a stunning dress in the robe de style silhouette, made of a cream silk moire. The dress is overall very simple with a sleeveless top that has a v-ed neckline in the front and back. The dress has a drop waist, and the front has a small gather at the center that helps to identify which side is the front. All the drama comes from the skirt of this dress which sports Panniers, little boned hip hoops, that are attached on the inside of the dress. The entire skirt of the dress is made out of a bobbinet with silk moire ruffles attached to it. The dress has a side placket that is a mix of snaps and hook and eyes under the left arm.

Condition

The dress is overall in great condition with only one visible flaw, a small repair on the right side near the underarm, so it is hard to see. The boning of the panniers has also seen some wear. The boning on the panniers are Warren feather boning and on the right side, the boning lost its shape and was damaged. I attached a new piece of boning to the outside of the original so that it would hold its shape. I did not want to remove the original.
