RARE Circa 20's EGYPTIAN DAMASCENE Cigarette Case

What a BEAUTY!

These Pieces are Rare are Hard to Find and come at a High-Ticket Price. These were made during the Komai Period from 1900-1940.

The Image on the Front Features Egyptian Characters and another on the Back with a Bird. It does not have the Signature with “24 Gold”, but it may have been left off for some reason. Many of these Pieces Do Not Feature Scenes on the Back. The Inside is Black and Slim with an Elastic Band to Hold Cigarettes or your Credit Cards.

The Illustrations Are Made from 24K Gold and Silver Threads Inlaid into Iron and Finished with Damascene. As Mentioned above, these Pieces Were Made During the Komai Period of 1900-1940 in Japan.

Near Mint Condition - This Lovely Damascene is qualified as Near Mint. It has some light wear commensurate with the age. It has only one foible. Both of the bands have come loose and will be replaced. These are Highly Collectible Pieces for their Artistry!
