Some fun Art Deco details in this late 70s vintage dress with 20s styling. Fanny wrap is trimmed in front with beaded Deco diamond medallion, asymmetrical handkerchief hem, long sleeves taper at wrists. A perfect Gatsby flapper dress, for a 20s themed wedding or Gatsby party. Color is soft pink, fabric is like a Qiana knit with some sheen. Slips on, no closures. Shoulder pads, not thick, more like 70s shoulder pads. No maker label. It says "dry clean only" but that's because of the medallion. I took it off and washed it in cold water, hung it to dry and sewed the medallion back on. It's an option. CONDITION: I replaced the rhinestone in center of medallion with a new one but I couldn't help the tarnished bugle beads, otherwise flawless, clean and ready to Charleston!

What to look for in true 20s style dresses:

mid calf length, no shorter

dropped waist, loose fit

drape-y fabric

solid or retro print

handkerchief hems are a plus.
