Another Rare find. 1910-1920's sheer silk chiffon drop waist dress. I try to only offer unique and in a min of 8/10 condition items and this one does not disappoint. In amazing condition for 100 yrs old and without a lot of wear. There is no yellowing of the armpits or major or even noticeable discoloration or stains. I don't see anything major to note although for 100 yrs old I may have missed small issues. The fabric is good which is rare for silk from this era. There is no breaking or rot but there are a few minor issues Upon inspection I found 2 just over 1/4 inch darns, original and well done, on 2 of the hundreds of dots, There also seems to be an old repair in an arm seam that is small apx maybe 1 to 1. 5 inches. This is very minor for 110 year old silk. Due to the busy pattern there may be other small darns or repairs missed and am disclosing the fact that I may have not seen other small darns or minor issues. But again, the material is in good condition and not seeing any existing material rot or such. Unlike so many old silk. I also see some very very faint bleed here and there along the waist rope. Its still stunning.

This is a pull over dress without tags.

This is shown on mannequin apx 5' 9" 34 x 26 x 36 and it fit perfectly.

Measurements are taken flat back from seams to seam. Bust is pit to pit and needs to be doubled with a bit more room in front from cut. Waist and hips also please double. Shoulder hem is non existent so I measured from sleeve hem to sleeve hem across shoulder back.
