Decade: 1920s
Material: silk satin, grosgrain ribbon
Brand/label - Jean - 7 East 55th St., New York (also marked with ELT - it belonged to a theater at some point)
Condition - fair - major issues are fading and ribbon at collar needs replaced as the grosgrain ribbon is shredding. Tear at bottom of opening that can easily be stitched up quickly. Some spots throughout on dress that come off when you rub them so may be old food or mold. They do get lost in the pleats and seems to originate from the inside. Looks like it may have had a belt attached at some point as there are places on the back where small stitch tacts are. Area on sleeve seam where stress (shown in image). Underarm pads saved armpits and have discoloration but are not hard like many used pads. Upper bodice lined in silk that holds the pleats in from expanding out and has saved bodice silk. A few minor pinholes when held to light. Has not been cleaned.
Measurements:

Bicep - 11" (important measurement)
Cuff - 6" Larger hands would have a tough time slipping through cuff
