1920s black silk devore velvet dress designed with what looks like larger blooms at the bottom hem that moves into blades of wheat in the middle of the dress and then smaller blooms covering the upper portion. Beautiful!

[c o n d i t i o n]

great condition - the lowest button has lost the inner shell so it's just stitched closed - not noticeable in my opinion. There are a few small hard dots along the hem - maybe 3? I also don't find them noticeable. There is a mesh layer right under the underarms and shoulders - most likely for reinforcement - and has separated slightly on one hem with a bit of fraying, but it's not part of the main dress and doesn't affect the quality.
