This is just an absolutely stunning black silk chiffon 20s dress. The dress has a deep V-Ed neckline with a shawl/tie collar that is asymmetric and is decorated with stunning extra sparkly faceted black glass beads. They are in geometric designs appliquéd with black silk taffeta squares. The dress has long short sleeves and the hem is trimmed with more beads. The dress has the iconic 20s drop waist that has lovely gathering details on the sides. The hem of the skirt is also decorated in the same fashion as the collar, just larger, and is so stunning. The camera,

surprisingly, was able to capture just how sparkly the beads are. The skirt falls to hit the mid-calf, it is unlined and does not have a matching slip.

Condition:

The dress is in great condition overall with only two small repairs. The most noticeable is a small repair below where the collar falls on the left front of the dress. It is small, no bigger than a pencil eraser and if worn with a slip would be next to impossible to see. There is also a small repair in one of the squares on the front, but it is really hard to see. I missed it myself till I went to take a closer look at the hem. The repairs are done well and are hard to see. Again, if you chose to wear a black slip underneath they would be impossible to see. The dress has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.

The dress is a pull on over the head style dress so some wiggle room is needed to get the dress on
