Ah, the art deco era's fascination with an earlier time ... a time of poofy skirts and corsets and courtship. Crinoline ladies! And their gents!

What I love about this pair of pictures is that one couple seems to be getting along fine, ready for a kiss of the hand--and the other couple is either arguing or being a bit coy. The blonde in blue does not want to take her man's arm ...

These prints have survived with unusually vibrant colors, and the convex glass (underpinned with the black trees and plants) is in great condition. These are ready for a demure boudoir or bedroom ... or wherever you hang your collection.

Condition is, therefore, vintage very good. The only flaws I see are some bubbling of the paper along the edge of the frame--I indicated some in one photo ... The brass frames have mellowed with time, but everything looks fantastic after 90 to 100 years!
