Beautiful Depression era smock dress with beautiful polka dot calico sturdy cotton fabric. This piece is in amazing condition for it's age, it looks as though it was never used. Ricrack trim throughout, gorgeous original mother of pearl buttons on the back, it is a true piece of the time. These smocks were handmade and kept for years so it is super rare to find one in such great condition! Cute little pocket on the front to put all your doodads in while doing chores about the house. Can be worn layered over a sweater and bloomers for a cute spring hi-lo look, or just worn about the house as it was intended.
