Robe de style dresses were a short lived style in the 1920s that had the drop waist typical of the era but with a wide skirt usually meant to over a hip bustle of sorts called panniers--echoing the fashions of the 18th century. Some of them had the panniers built in, this one does not. This has the wider skirts and a single narrow front panel.

Has sweet little rosettes at the neck and waist and that lace collar! Side snaps, and the skirt ties in front.

Excellent condition, remarkable really for its age. There are very few signs of its age.

The lace also seems intact. The only really flaw is a area of discoloration right at the front just above the waistline. There are a few other discolored areas, such as the armpits and some other minor marks.
