This spectacular beauty is everything we love about the 1920s. It is just layer after layer of black asymmetrical lace over a black opaque layer ( viscose perhaps?) with an illusion lace bodice lined in flesh toned chiffon. No sleeves, and a drop waist with a lace waist accent. There is no opening in this dress, it merely pulls over the head. No label. Definitely large to extra large. I've pinned it to dress form to show its shape.Excellent vintage condition. For it's age and the delicacy of the fabric this is in remarkable shape. The only real thing to note is the inner beige chiffon at the bodice has some shattering. See photo for an example. Part of it has already been removed by a previous owner, and frankly I think I'd just take out the rest too. Or replace it. Its wearable as is, but in time I believe that beige will give up the ghost. Other than that I saw a couple breaks in the black lace under the arms and one on the bodice but nowhere else. Though there is a TON of lace here so forgive me if I've missed something. Measurements when lying flat.
