FABULOUS VINTAGE FIND

Vintage/Antique AUTHENTIC Black Satin ART DECO period dress in EXCELLENT condition for its age.....c. the late 1920s - early 1930s, this has the drop waist and very low back of the time. The Satin is thick with the rough inside it used to have and it is hand-stitched. (The only part that is not is the zipper, which was clearly added later to replace the original side snaps...so the zipper is the only part NOT original to the dress).......LOVE the dragonfly dress clip attached - has been on there a while but definitely is removable~~.....There are very few pinholes in the skirt, but you can see a couple if you hold up to the light. The metallic waist is FABULOUS; the hand stitching was redone here and there over the years and you can tell (see pics)....but ALL IN ALL, IT IS IN EXCELLENT shape for its age and TOTALLY WEARABLE!.......NOT meant to be tight fitting; fits a XS/S.....Approx 50" long depending on where the waist lies on you, up to 36" bust, 30" waist, FREE hips.
