Elevate your attire with this classic, preppy, Americana glam hat, fashion by Gano Downs Co. in the 1920's out of Denver. In the 20's straw hats were all the rage...so much so that retailers made agreements on when they would release and advertise them. This beauty is an original Gano Downs piece with it's original label inside. We are adding an old 1924 newspaper article about the company and their famous natural straw hats! The hat is made of a tightly woven natural straw, making an almost floral pattern on the top - known for being durable and breathable. It is trimmed with dramatic yet elegant medium blue colored velvet accent and bow. The inside has a lining as well as grosgrain ribbon, original labels, and is marked as size 22 1/2.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with no damages to note.
