Gorgeous solid silver long guard or muff chain circa mid-late 19th century.

Very long and incredibly beautiful, this chain is a staple piece for anyone's antique jewelry collection. Double or triple around your neck and attach your favorite charms, fobs, or pendants to the dog clip. These versatile chains are my favorite!

Some kind of marking on the dog clip, which I cannot make out. Tests around 900-925 silver.
