From famed Parisienne fashion house, Leonard Paris.
Audacious since the very start, Daniel Tribouillard succeeded in bringing to life the “art of the flower” via powdered drawings, inspired by Chinese artists. Then came the art to wear this flower, opposing fabrics such as exceptionally fine and light silk, cashmere and the outstanding silk jersey. These extremely noble, light and uncrushable fabrics become, starting in 1968, significant signatures of the Maison. “The Leonard dress, 150 grams of happiness”, was the slogan of the brand at the time. Irresistible.
This quintessential boldly ostentatious Leonard design, is a hard to find rare luxury garment original dating from the early 1970s.
A vibrant neon op art print featuring exaggerated chrysanthemums & iris flowers on a geometric foliage background.
