Draped and tucked to create the turban look. Right side holds two wide streamers that drop down low giving the hat a asymmetrical look. Fabric is a rich faille in a deep black. Interior is finished with a cream faille.
Label is Don Anderson, a native of International Falls, Minn. He studied art at the University of Minnesota and at first planned to be a painter. He also studied at the Parsons School of Design in New York. Starting in the 1950's he designed and worked with many of the big names - Chanda, Fred of John-Fredericks, Lily Dache and at one time was a Halston licensee.
Excellent condition, showing no age or wear.
Inner circumference is 23 inches. Measuring on the outside, side to side is 16 inches not including the streamers.
