Amazing 1950s or 1960s Emma Domb of California party dress. Sleeveless red velvet bodice with a plunging v-neck. Long plaid taffeta skirt. Back zip with two hook and eye closures, one at the top of the bodice, one at the bottom (the "eye" in this case is a thread loop - see photo 8). Red crinoline underskirt to poof the skirt out (photo 9). Matching plaid inside the bodice. The crinoline is sewn into the skirt in "swoops" (see photos 10 & 11). The dress is in excellent vintage condition; you can see in photo 11 that the inside waist above the crinoline where the bodice was sewn into the skirt has edges that weren't cleaned up, but this is not a flaw and is only on the inside of the skirt. There is a safety pin prick on the inside of the bodice (photo 12), but this is on the lining only, not on the velvet bodice. The dress is a vintage size 7. Based on the below flat lay measurements, this appears to be a size 0 or 2. Please compare these measurements to a dress that fits you well to ensure proper fit!
