Okay, I now know how to spell the word "corduroy."
Honestly, I had the u in the wrong place and I had an e in there and just phonetically, I guess it's correct the correct way, but it was also phonetically correct the way I incorrectly spelled it.
Yes. Bring on the spelling bees, the scrabble games, the crossword puzzles. Corduroy, (dang, it took me 5 tries again!) for the win.
I used to hate corduroy--and not for the spelling, but for the stiffness and the swish-swish sound it made when you walked and it was so heavy and my mom MADE me wear it and just ugh. Times change. I'm more-than-okay with it now. And this dress doesn't swish. At all. And it's not heavy. It's got light little grooves, not deep ones, but it's textured enough that it's cozy and substantial.
I found this in Maine, where they know their corduroy (2 wrong tries that time) because it gets chilly up there and this would pair so well with a cozy pair of thick tights and a fun hat. Oh, man could one have a good time with hats and this dress.
Disney-bounders...Minnie Mouse, amiright?
Leaves are changing here in the northeast. Welcome it with this dress. Welcome corduroy into your life (nope, still put a dang e in the wrong place). Sigh.
Pocket. The word "pocket" I know how to spell and this dress has a pocket on the right side. You should always go out on a high note, so I'm ending with pocket.
