60's Hand Made Crinkle Cotton Floral Dress$90.00
This hand made dress was beautifully made in the 1960's by a local California designer. She worked for couture fashion labels but made this beauty for herself. The fabrication is a crinkle cotton with a retro floral print and a unique puckered texture that mimics a classic seersucker look . It has a feather light weight with a crisp hand giving a surprisingly voluminous drape. The fabric has a warm creamy yellow base with an all over floral pattern in shades of amber, pale pink, lavender, and of-white. It has a round split neckline, hidden zipper back closer, unique pleat designs at the back of the sleeves, and ultra flattering seam-lines and darts on the bodice. It fits like a medium but has no size tag...read measurements below to get a better idea on sizing. Perfect for high tea or a girls brunch! Bonus detail...the inside of the hem has lace sewn to it and the lace peaks through when you are walking or when you sit.
Great vintage condition for it's age with a few small pin hole damages. You could wear a slip underneath if the pin holes bothered you. There are only two (on the front) but they are so small we weren't able to capture a picture. Other than that no rips or stains. Comes from a smoke free home. Zipper works very smoothly and well.
