No need to guesstimate when this blouse was manufactured; the 1960 date is on the label! The silky satin-like fabric is an interesting conversational print, which includes urns, roses and posies, leaves, fruit bowls, goblets and a couple other interesting abstract objects in a mix of blue, teal, moss and yellowish green, and etches of black, all set on a white backdrop. Most likely paired with a narrow bottom at that time, this straight-silhouette overblouse is designed with a notched collar, ¾ cuffed sleeves, and 5” side slits. Five small white plastic buttons provide the front closure. There are matching buttons on the cuffs.
