Gorgeous 70s does 40s ice blue silk satin cocktail dress.

Lovely medium weight crepe back ice blue satin fabric with woven rows of "ripples" as pictured.

Darted bodice with a v neckline and pleated shoulders as pictured.

Below the elbow 3 quarter length sleeves are pleated at the shoulders. There are shoulder pads which are easily removable as they are fastened with safety pins only.

Nipped waist seam.

Lovely flaring skirt with a 92" bottom sweep.

Comes with its original double layer self-fabric sash belt.

Unlined. No pockets.

Does up the center back with a long nylon zipper.

DESIGNER LABEL: None - this appears to be handmade by a skilled seamstress or tailor.

SIZING: Based on the measurements below, I'd say this would best fit a modern size Medium.

Shoulders: 15-1/2"

Outer Sleeves: 19"

Inner Sleeves: 14-1/2"

Bust: 36" + (due to pleated shoulders) Underarm to underarm

CONDITION: Excellent with no issues. There are no rips, holes, picks, odors, holes, fading or discoloration.
